
Business Development and Sales Manager

Overview: We are a growing Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) organization specializing in providing end-to-end solutions in electronic manufacturing, and assembly solutions. As we are expanding, we are seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to set up business and drive growth for the organisation.
The Sales and Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships. This individual will leverage their extensive experience in the EMS industry to formulate and execute sales strategies, meet revenue targets, and contribute to the overall business growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies aligned with organisation objectives. Analyse industry insights to identify potential growth opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Business Development: Prospect and engage with potential clients through networking events, industry conferences, and targeted outreach efforts. Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the organization, addressing their needs, concerns, and requirements in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales pipeline, and analyse sales performance metrics to track progress towards goals. Generate regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in EMS sales or customer relationship management.
- Basic knowledge of EMS processes ( SMT, backend, box build )etc. and have worked on costing of EMS products.
- Excellent communication skills, for building relationship with customers and winning new businesses.
- Should have exposure to leverage CRM tools as enablers for growth of the organisation.
