Job Description of Business Development-IT Sales

Inventia Technology Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for skilled people for the role of Business Development- IT Sales to acquire and manage new client relationships. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective clients business and equipment needs
  • Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and progress towards goals
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing effective business strategies in IT Industry.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in business
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing or in software marketing projects
  • Proven track record of success in business development, B2B sales, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients.
