Job Overview:

As a part of Lead Generation team [Demand Generation Executive / Graduate Engineer trainee (Fresher)] you will be responsible for identifying potential leads, reaching out to prospects, and generating sales opportunities. You will make outbound calls, initiate conversations, and qualify leads to pass along to the sales team. Your goal is to increase the sales pipeline and contribute to achieving overall revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research: Development of Prospect Pipeline through identification and focused research
  • Outbound Calling: Initiate cold calls to potential leads, introduce the company's products or services, and gauge interest.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria to determine if there a good fit for the company's offerings.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Pipeline Building: Maintain and update the Salesforce with detailed records of calls, conversations, and follow-up actions.
  • Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer any questions, and maintain engagement with prospects.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value to prospects.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly call quotas, lead generation goals, and other performance targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide relevant insights from initial calls.
  • Feedback: Provide feedback from prospects to the marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve targeting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering preferred. (Chemical/Mechanical)
  • Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales (1-2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Comfortable with using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track activity.
  • Goal-oriented and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, perseverance, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in handling Chemicals, Pharma companies
  • Familiarity with sales scripts and objection handling techniques
