Business Operations Manager (PMO) (Looking Immediate joiner)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 12-16 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Operations professional with 1216 years of experience to drive operational excellence, program governance, and cross-functional execution. The role involves partnering with business and delivery leaders to manage project portfolios, monitor key performance metrics, and implement process improvements that enable business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end program tracking, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, outcomes, and key business initiatives.
  • Lead governance reviews, prepare management reports, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and utilization tracking across projects or business units.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, prepare dashboards, minutes, and action trackers, and ensure timely closures.
  • Manage risk and issue logs, driving resolution and escalation management as required.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Delivery, HR, Finance, IT, etc.) for seamless operational execution.
  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in adopting tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Support change management, business transformation, and strategic planning initiatives.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • 812 years of experience in Business Operations / Delivery Governance / PMO / Strategic Planning.
  • Strong background in program management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and executive communication.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and resource management processes.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
  • Knowledge of collaboration and workflow tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
