Job Description – Business Development Executive (Machine Manufacturing)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, field visits, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industrial clients to promote machinery products and solutions.
  • Understand client requirements, prepare proposals, and provide suitable product recommendations.
  • Support sales team in lead generation, customer follow-ups, and business closures.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and technical-commercial offers.
  • Explore new markets, industrial zones, and customer segments for business expansion.
  • Achieve business development targets in line with company objectives.
  • Maintain sales pipeline, CRM records, and prepare regular MIS reports.

Key Skills & Personality Traits

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into business.
  • Knowledge of machinery manufacturing / industrial equipment industry preferred.
  • Candidates from other industries with strong BDE experience are welcome if interested in machinery sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in follow-ups.

Preference

  • Prior experience in industrial sales or business development.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.

  • Salary Package: ₹2.4 – ₹4. LPA (depending on merit)
  • Location: Ahmedabad (office)
  • Experience: 1–4 years in Business Development / Industrial Sales
  • Work Schedule: 6 days a week

Education

  • Any Graduate / MBA (Marketing / International Business preferred).
  • Engineering or Technical background is an added advantage.
