Chief Financial Officer

Key responsibilities

Strategic leadership:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Advise the founders and Board on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities
  • Support growth, expansion, and operational efficiency as a core member

Financial management:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Ensure timely, accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements
  • Monitor financial performance and develop KPIs to track organizational health

Compliance and Risk:

  • Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead internal audits and manage relationships with external auditors
  • Oversee risk management activities including insurance, legal exposure, and financial controls

Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team
  • Oversee vendor contracts, procurement policies, and cost control measures
  • Implement systems and technologies that improve financial operations and reporting

Key requirements:

  • CA / CPA / MBA in Finance or related field; additional certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive financial experience, with 3+ years as a CFO or equivalent leadership role, candidate should experience in a rapidly growing organization
  • Prior experience in the healthcare, wellness, or hospital sector is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
