Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive person to lead payroll operations and statutory compliance across multiple overseas locations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate payroll processing, regulatory adherence, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Accuracy & Timeliness
- Ensure 100% accurate and timely payroll input and processing across all international locations.
- Adhere strictly to country-specific payroll calendars and statutory deadlines.
- Minimize payroll errors and ensure zero non-compliance incidents.
Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams for regular reviews and reporting.
- Support annual activities such as CTC restructuring due to Mediclaim, Life Insurance renewals, and appraisal cycles.
MIS & Data Reporting
- Maintain and update payroll data in
SAP
and other HR systems. - Generate and interpret payroll and leave data reports for audits, budgeting, and workforce planning.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors across geographies to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Communicate professionally with employees regarding payroll and leave-related queries.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in payroll and compliance workflows.
- Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.

: Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes across geographies. - Analytical & Reporting Skills
: Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and audit preparation. - Communication & Stakeholder Management
: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions and regions. - Confidentiality & Integrity
: High ethical standards in handling sensitive employee data. - SAP Proficiency
: Experience in maintaining and managing payroll data in SAP or similar platforms. - Experience working in a global or multi-country payroll environment.
- Exposure to automation tools and digital HR platforms.
- Strong project management and self-organization skills.
