Key Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Lead Segment CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP) to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize customer segmentation strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data analytics solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics, JavaScript, SQL, and API integrations to extract insights, automate processes, and optimize campaign targeting. Job
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of segmentation strategies using the Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define data analytics solutions to address business needs.
• Design and implement data models, workflows, and automation processes within the Segment CDP.
• Utilize JavaScript, SQL, and API integrations to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the Segment CDP.
• Develop and maintain custom tracking plans, events, and properties within the Segment CDP to capture relevant customer data.
• Analyze data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of segmentation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics, customer segmentation, and CDP technologies.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members. Minimum qualifications and technical skills:
• Proven experience working with Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP) or similar customer data management platforms.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics, JavaScript, SQL, and API integrations.
• Experience designing and implementing segmentation strategies to drive business outcomes.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
