Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Expert to support the expansion and adoption of our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This mid-level/senior consultant will work cross-functionally with business operations and technical teams to ensure the effectiveness and scalability of CDP implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in data systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues swiftly, while maintaining a focus on data-driven marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as first line support for platform issues, resolving incidents affecting data flows and platform behavior.
  • Monitor platform performance and usage, identifying inefficiencies for improvement.
  • Manage platform configurations, access control, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with data teams on integrations and data model updates using tools such as dbt, Terraform, and BigQuery.
  • Create documentation and troubleshooting guides for efficient knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data consistency.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of marketing activation and customer data use cases.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platform capabilities including audience segmentation and campaign delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with leading CDPs such as Hightouch, ActionIQ, Segment, or Mparticle.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data governance practices.
  • Data engineering knowledge, particularly with GCP BigQuery, dbt, and Terraform.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify root causes across systems.
  • Strong communication abilities to liaise with technical teams and marketers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in programmatic advertising or data analytics.
  • Knowledge of advanced data modelling techniques.
  • Experience with additional CDP tools.

Other Details:
This role is a full-time consultant position meant to facilitate the global adoption of our CDP. Flexibility in responsibilities is expected based on project priorities. Candidates should be proactive and committed to delivering high-quality results.
