Desktop Support Engineer L1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and IT peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot operating system issues (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Assist in network connectivity troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and LAN issues.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
  • Provide support for printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
  • Address login and access-related issues, including password resets.
  • Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system and escalate unresolved problems to L2/L3 teams.
  • Assist with new user onboarding, including system setup and profile configurations.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for email and collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Zoom).
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite/Hybrid/Remote (as per company policy).
  • May require occasional travel to different office locations.
  • Rotational shifts or on-call support may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
