Job Title: Manager - Learning & Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager - Learning & Development to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of our learning strategies. This role is pivotal in aligning learning initiatives with business goals, enhancing workforce capability, and driving organizational performance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in end-to-end L&D management, stakeholder partnership, and innovative learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to develop and execute business-specific L&D strategies and roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and global counterparts to understand evolving learning needs.
  • Represent the L&D function, leading location-specific learning initiatives and driving the learning agenda.

L&D Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day L&D operations, including training calendar management, facilitator engagement, and budget utilization.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of training programs across locations.
  • Monitor and manage the quality of training delivery and vendor performance.

Training Lifecycle Management:

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate professional development and technical upskilling programs.
  • Innovate on digital learning platforms and explore the integration of modern technologies like AI in learning solutions.
  • Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions based on feedback and business impact.

Project & Change Management:

  • Lead and execute learning-related projects and initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and contribute to change management efforts within the organization.

People Leadership:

  • Set goals, provide coaching, and conduct performance appraisals for team members.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in the L&D function of a large corporation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with global stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Outstanding project management skills with a proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end learning process from design conception to deployment.
  • Stand-up facilitation experience of at least 5 years.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, and manage L&D projects, including project scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in building stakeholder relationships and managing projects.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA is preferred (Any Specialization).
