Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Business Development Specialist
to join our team. The role will focus on two key areas:
- Lead Generation
– Identifying, researching, and creating new business opportunities. - Client Engagement & Closure
– Arranging meetings, conducting client discussions, sending proposals, and ensuring successful business closure.
The candidate will be responsible for the
end-to-end conversion cycle
: from prospecting to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business leads across target industries.
- Reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, networking, and professional platforms.
- Arrange and attend client meetings (online/offline).
- Prepare and send professional proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Follow up and drive closure of business deals.
- Maintain CRM/lead tracker with accurate records of outreach, meetings, and status.
- Work closely with technical teams to align client requirements with solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company's growth.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Development preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in Business Development / Sales (preferably B2B or services).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
