Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Business Development Specialist-Enterprise Sales
, based in Gurugram. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, and analyzing data to identify new business opportunities. The role also involves nurturing client relationships, providing excellent customer service, and effectively communicating with potential and existing clients on a daily basis.

As a
Business Development Specialist,
you will play a pivotal role in driving enterprise sales growth by identifying high-potential clients, crafting tailored sales strategies, and building long-term relationships. This role demands a solution-selling mindset, commercial sharpness, and a deep understanding of customer pain points within the supply chain and logistics landscape. You'll work closely with internal teams to design and close high-value deals that create tangible value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute a time-bound client acquisition strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Create a detailed business plan to target enterprise clients and expand market reach.

Consultative & Solution-Based Selling

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients by understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Lead solution-selling conversations to demonstrate how shiplog can address specific customer pain points.

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Generate and qualify leads through a mix of on-ground visits, cold outreach (calls/emails), and networking.
  • Nurture warm prospects and identify new opportunities by aligning services with client requirements.

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Build, track, and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise leads.
  • Engage stakeholders across the decision-making chain to advance deals through the funnel.

Commercial Scoping & Deal Closure

  • Collaborate with the Solution Design (Pre-sales) team to scope commercial proposals, respond to RFPs, and craft high-impact presentations.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely closure of deals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years
    of experience in front-end business development.
  • Preferred exposure to industries such as
    3PL warehousing,B2C/D2C enterprise sales (mandatory)
    , or
    supply chain consulting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand, price, and negotiate complex deals.
  • Excellent
