Job Summary

Are you a passionate, energetic chef who thrives on experimentation and innovation? Do you dream of revolutionizing the way people eat? Freshot Robotics is seeking a creative and methodical R&D Chef to join our Food Research & Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine culinary expertise with advanced technology, shaping the future of smart kitchens and food automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative recipes and food variants rapidly, with emphasis on healthy grains, millets, and traditional ingredients, alongside popular global dishes (e.g., pasta, Manchurian).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure recipes are optimized for automation, dispensing, and packaging.
  • Conduct continuous R&D to maintain excellence in taste, texture, consistency, and nutritional value.
  • Test, refine, and adapt recipes based on machine capabilities and customer feedback.
  • Innovate with a fixed set of ingredients to create a versatile range of beverages, sauces, syrups, and complete dishes.
  • Stay updated on food trends, culinary science, and automation-friendly food processes.
  • Participate in product trials, food exhibitions, and showcase events as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High-energy, enthusiastic chef with a genuine passion for culinary innovation and experimentation.
  • 1–5 years of hands-on experience in professional kitchens, culinary R&D, or food innovation roles.
  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Food Science, or Nutrition (preferred).
  • Strong interest or experience in millet-based, healthy, or regional cuisines.
  • Proven ability to adapt recipes for automation and ensure consistency in large-scale production.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to culinary competitions, exhibitions, or innovation showcases is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on skills & experience).
