Job Description Telemarketing for TEV and ESG

A Telemarketing Sales Executive for Techno Economic Viability (TEV) projects and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) would be responsible for promoting and selling services related to TEV studies, which assess the Technical, Financial and Economic Viability of proposed projects. This role involves contacting potential clients at senior management levels such as CEO, CFOs, GMs and Senior Management Executives via phone, providing information about TEV services, and ultimately securing sales or project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach:

Identifying and contacting potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, database research, and marketing campaigns.

  • Product/Service Knowledge:

Developing a strong understanding of TEV studies and their benefits to effectively communicate them to clients.

  • Sales Presentations:

Delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value and relevance of TEV services.

  • Relationship Building:

Establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in various industries.

  • Closing Sales:

Following up on leads, addressing client inquiries, and ultimately closing sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • CRM Management:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Market Research:

Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

  • Reporting:

Preparing regular sales reports and providing feedback on sales performance and market conditions using CRM software for managing client interactions and sales activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective phone-based interaction with clients.

  • Persuasion and Negotiation:

The ability to persuade clients, address their concerns, and negotiate favorable terms for sales agreements.

  • Sales Acumen:

A strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.

  • Technical Understanding:

Basic knowledge of TEV studies and their applications in various industries.

  • Target Orientation:

A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.

  • Teamwork:

The ability to collaborate effectively with other sales team members and support staff.

Experience and Education:

Experience of 1 to 8 years in telemarketing and a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
