Head of Projects (Residential & Commercial Construction)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Projects to oversee residential and

commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for ensuring timely supervision, reporting, quality and other management work

while effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.
Managing and Leading the Project Execution Team:
Lead and mentor project

heads to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of projects.

2.
Scheduling as per Planned and Approved Timelines:
Ensure Development and

adhering to project schedules, ensuring alignment with approved plans.

3.
Handling Raw Material Procurement:
Oversee procurement processes, ensuring

timely availability of quality materials.

4.
Managing Coordination of Contractors and Other Working Groups:
Ensure

seamless collaboration between contractors, vendors, and other working groups.

5.
Managing Project Deliverables in Line with the Project Plan:
Monitor project

progress to ensure deliverables are met according to specifications.

6.
Recording and Managing Project Issues and Suggesting Solutions:
Identify

project-related issues and propose effective solutions for resolution.

7.
Providing Inputs in Resolving Cross-Functional or Project-Level Issues:
Work

closely with different teams to resolve operational and technical challenges.

8.
Monitoring Project Progress and Performance:
Track project milestones, budget

adherence, and overall performance and report to GM & MD

9.
Providing Status Reports to Senior Management:
Prepare and present regular

progress reports received from project heads, highlighting key updates and potential

risks.10.
Liaising with Vendors in Case of Material Supply Delays:
Communicate with

vendors to resolve supply chain issues and keep management informed.

11.
Managing Project Evaluation and Dissemination Activities:
Conduct post-project

evaluations and share key findings for future improvements.

12.
Managing Project Scope, Change Control, and Escalating Issues:
Ensure project

scope is maintained, manage changes effectively, and escalate critical issues when

required.

Key Qualifications & Skills:


• Bachelors in Civil Engineering


• Age: 35+ with proven 7+ years' experience in residential and commercial

construction project management.


• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


• Knowledge in project management software and tools.


• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and

timelines


• Must be keen in building the team from scratch apart from supervision


• Must be ready to accept additional responsibility given by Managing Director from

time-to-time.
