We are looking for a
Business Development Executive (Intern)
who is passionate about sales, client acquisition, and understanding the needs of modern businesses. This role will give hands-on experience in selling digital products and services and building real-world business relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Client Identification & Lead Generation
Research and identify potential clients who could benefit from:
- SkillMyTribe & other AI-based courses
- Custom mobile app development and software solutions
- Digital marketing services
Maintain a pipeline of potential leads using CRM tools or spreadsheets
Conduct initial outreach via email, LinkedIn, calls, or other channels
Sales & Client Engagement
- Initiate contact with prospective clients to introduce products and services
- Schedule meetings/demos for the internal team with qualified leads
- Follow up with leads and maintain engagement until conversion
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and follow-ups
- Prepare weekly reports on lead generation, client outreach, and progress
- Collaborate with internal teams (training, tech, and marketing) for customized client solutions
Internship Learning Goals
- Learn sales techniques and client engagement best practices
- Understand digital products, mobile app development, and AI-driven services
- Gain exposure to B2B business development and software service sales
Skills & Competencies Required:
Essential Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good research and analytical skills
- Confidence in reaching out to potential clients
- Basic understanding of digital products, software development, and AI technologies (can be learned on the job)
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
- Social media and LinkedIn usage for lead generation
Desirable Competencies
- Previous internship or experience in sales, business development, or client management
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.)
- Interest in technology, EdTech, AI, and digital marketing
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented
