Job Summary:
The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative tasks, employee coordination, and HR process management. This role ensures smooth communication and efficient handling of HR-related operations, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, attendance, and employee engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and update employee records (soft and hard copies).
- Support recruitment processes — job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Prepare and issue HR documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and experience certificates.
- Handle onboarding and exit formalities for employees.
- Maintain attendance, leave, and payroll-related data.
- Coordinate employee welfare and engagement programs.
- Assist in performance appraisal processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Handle employee queries and provide necessary HR-related support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (freshers can apply).
- Good knowledge of HR processes and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality.
