- Leading the understanding of the EV category to identify new opportunity areas and conceptualize new electric models. Understanding the need for new EVs in respective segments and support in building a long-term EV portfolio plan.
- Understanding customer requirements related to EVs and translating them into cost-effective electric product/technical solutions. Communicate and track the same to the program teams dynamically for implementation.
- Analysis of relevant EV Industry data and volume forecast database.
- Drive electric product definition along with stakeholders - including specifications, vehicle attributes, subjective evaluation parameters, targets, electric powertrain attributes, vehicle architecture.
- Undertake plans for refreshes, new electric developments, and develop the segment-specific EV roadmap.
- Facilitate EV-related communication to internal stakeholders by preparing detailed product dockets at various stages of EV product development.
- Interfacing and controlling the complexity involved in EV product development by balancing the needs of the Marketing/Sales team and the product development team. Negotiate electric product line-ups and variant proposals based on market and customer research.
- Regularly report to management the status of EV project and monitor schedules/timelines along with cost and performance.
- Studying the applicable regulations, particularly those relevant to EVs, for future compliance. Track and analyze relevant industry data points like EV market trends, segment shifts (global), consumer trends, and competitor activities.
- Strong understanding of Business financial fundamentals and material cost drivers specific to electric products for preparing EV product business cases.
- Ensure robustness and quality in timely closure of product planning deliverables and infotainment/tech strategy for new products. Achieve key milestones within the stipulated timelines.
- Support successful EV launches and monetary objectives with a focus on achieving business goals related to volume, market share, profitability, and variant strategies.
- Achieve financial targets per vehicle in terms of SDV profit and overall product performance metrics.
- 10 to 15 years relevant experience with preferable atleast 2 years in a customer-facing function like Sales/Marketing/Customer Care etc. Product Planning and Program Management/Product Development experience will be preferred

Qualifications- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or Electrical Engineering, MBA Marketing desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Cross-functional working skills to collaborate with functions like Design, R&D, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, Customer Service, etc.
- Ability to think holistically with a strategic intent.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable using data tools to support decision making
