About the Role

Ramada Hotel Chennai is looking for an energetic and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will take charge of driving event and banquet sales, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring every event reflects the Ramada brand's excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and convert leads for corporate events, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners.

Handle end-to-end event sales process — from inquiry and proposal to final billing and event execution coordination.

Collaborate with banquet, F&B, and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

Prepare event sales reports, track performance metrics, and meet monthly/annual revenue targets.

Monitor competitor activity and identify new business opportunities to increase market share.

Represent Ramada at trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event or banquet sales (preferably in the hotel industry).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong organizational and presentation abilities.

Passion for hospitality and customer service excellence.
