Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with teaching and/or mentoring
• 5+ years' project or program management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience managing or being involved in a Maker program
• Maker enthusiast, crafter, & tinkerer at heart
• Strong mechanical background (ability to fix Maker equipment)
• Experience with equipment listed below
• Experience with shop safety protocols
• Experience working with outside vendors
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to influence senior leaders on program goals and gain participation.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech savvy, with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to improve and create processes within the organization to create efficiencies and clarity.
• Excellent team player, but also has the ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Demonstrated track record of coordinating and supporting successful events and communications.
• Willing and able to travel when needed.
• Experience managing vendors and contracts.
• Experience working on a global team and building relationships virtually.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to be highly productive and proactive with supporting key stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
