
Lead - Business Development Manager

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead to strengthen ISRN's
engagement with corporates, expand partnerships, and enhance program reach and impact. The role
will primarily focus on building and nurturing corporate relations, driving CSR partnerships, and
generating new opportunities for organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Engagement & Partnerships
• Identify, approach, and onboard corporate partners, sponsors, and clients aligned with ISRN's
mission and programs.
• Build strong networks with CSR and corporate communications teams to drive sustained
engagement.
• Establish strategic alliances with industry associations (e.g., CII, FICCI, PHDCCI, Assocham) to
increase visibility and credibility.
Business Development & Revenue Generation
• Develop and implement strategies to mobilize CSR funding, sponsorships, and program
collaborations.
• Draft compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to corporate and institutional
stakeholders.
• Explore funding opportunities from CSR, foundations, and corporate budgets.
• Ensure lead tracking, timely follow-ups, and successful conversion of prospects into long-term
partnerships.
Relationship Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners to maintain strong, trust-based
relationships.
• Provide end-to-end support to partners, ensuring alignment of their objectives with ISRN's
initiatives.
• Collect and analyze partner feedback to refine strategies and enhance future collaborations.
Program Promotion & Support
• Effectively communicate the value proposition, impact, and learning outcomes of ISRN's
programs to corporates.
• Collaborate with the communications team to design promotional content and campaigns targeting
corporate stakeholders.
• Monitor performance metrics, outreach effectiveness, and funding progress to optimize strategies.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong business development and corporate networking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal-writing abilities.
• Proven experience in CSR fundraising, partnership development, or corporate engagement
(preferably in the NGO sector).
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and drive measurable results.
• Strategic mindset with strong relationship management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in business development, corporate partnerships, or fundraising
- (experience in NGO/CSR ecosystem preferred).
