Role Overview

A Chief Technical Officer focused on Business Central (BC) and NAV is responsible for leading the company's technology strategy, ensuring smooth ERP implementation, customization, and innovation. This role bridges business needs with advanced technical solutions using Microsoft ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities1. Technology Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive the company's ERP roadmap using Business Central and NAV.
  • Evaluate new Microsoft technologies, updates, and features.
  • Lead digital transformation aligned with business goals.
  • Guide technical teams (developers, consultants, analysts).

2. ERP Architecture & Implementation

  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of Business Central/NAV.
  • Plan system upgrades, migrations (NAV → Business Central).
  • Ensure architecture is scalable, secure, and performance-optimized.

3. Customization & Solution Design

  • Approve technical designs, extensions, integrations, and automations.
  • Manage AL coding standards, app development, API integrations, Power Platform add-ons.

4. Team Management

  • Mentor technical leads, developers, and ERP consultants.
  • Create best practices, coding guidelines, and review processes.
  • Monitor workload, sprint planning, and project timelines.

5. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and Sales to deliver ERP solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

6. Vendor & Client Management

  • Coordinate with Microsoft partners and external vendors.
  • Participate in client meetings, solution demos, and technical sign-offs.

7. Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data protection, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance.
  • Implement role-based security and best practice access controls.

8. Innovation & Automation

  • Introduce Power BI dashboards, Power Automate workflows, Copilot capabilities.
  • Optimize processes with AI-driven solutions.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

  • Expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL) and NAV (C/AL).
  • Strong understanding of ERP modules: Finance, SCM, Retail, Manufacturing, Projects.
  • Experience in Azure, SQL Server, API/EDI integration.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Understanding DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for BC.

  • Stakeholder management and business understanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200, ₹400,000.00 per month
