**Synopsis**:
Hurix Digital is a leading EdTech Services B2B firm that provides innovative digital content and
technology solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our sales and marketing efforts, driving growth and maximizing revenue opportunities.
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sales and marketing
functions, developing strategies to drive revenue growth, and ensuring the alignment of sales and
sales and marketing teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to

achieve revenue targets. Align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives and
market trends.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, setting performance goals and monitoring

progress. Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capture market share. Build
and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Marketing Management: Oversee the marketing team, ensuring effective execution of marketing

campaigns and initiatives especially digitally and organically. Develop brand positioning and
messaging that resonates with target audiences. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize
marketing strategies and improve ROI.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and existing

customer retention. Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities. Develop pricing
strategies and models to maximize profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including product

development, content services. technology services, customer service, and finance, to ensure
alignment and support of revenue goals. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within
the sales and marketing teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure

success. Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales and marketing
performance.

**Typical Day**:

- Review daily sales reports and performance metrics.
- Conduct meetings with sales and marketing teams to discuss strategy, progress, and challenges.
- Engage with key clients and prospects to build relationships and close deals.
- Collaborate with business and functional units to align offerings with market needs.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Analyze marketing campaign results and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay informed about market developments.

- Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferably in Communication, Media, and

Technology sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software especially Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong network of contacts within the Communication, Media, and Technology industries.

**Reporting Relationship**:

- Reports directly to the CEO
- Frequent interaction with the CEO on a range of issues, providing support whenever necessary.
