Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel, is India's leading steel service and solutions provider. Under the Tata Tiscon Downstream Solutions brand, the company delivers high-precision rebar products such as Cut & Bend Rebars, Couplers, Welded Wire Fabric, and ReadyBuild Solutions, supporting efficient and sustainable construction across India.
With a growing focus on digital customer engagement and supply-chain efficiency, TSDPL is expanding its remote sales and customer service team to enhance online support and project coordination.
Job Summary
The Remote Sales & Customer Support Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating project requirements, processing online inquiries, and supporting sales operations remotely. This role is ideal for candidates who are proactive, digitally savvy, and passionate about customer service in the B2B industrial and construction domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries from customers, contractors, and distributors.
- Provide information about Tata Tiscon's Downstream Solutions including Cut & Bend, ReadyBuild, and SmartFAB products.
- Generate and follow up on leads using CRM tools (Salesforce / Zoho / SAP).
- Prepare and share quotations, delivery updates, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with regional sales offices and logistics teams for order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and ensure timely response to client issues.
- Support marketing campaigns, webinars, and virtual product presentations.
- Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or industrial sales support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi (other regional languages a plus).
- Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office Suite, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams).
- Strong customer-handling and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B industrial or construction product sales.
- Familiarity with rebar, steel, or building materials sector.
- Strong digital communication and remote work discipline.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9, ₹33,162.25 per month
