Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Assistant Manager - Business Development to lead client acquisition, build relationships, and deliver tailored solutions. This role requires strong business acumen, sales ownership, and the ability to work closely with the strategy team to close deals and grow client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within target industries (building material, décor, real estate).
- Own the sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Collaborate with the strategy team to craft winning presentations and campaign ideas.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Track, report, and analyse sales performance and pipeline progress.
- Meet and exceed quarterly business development targets.
- Represent Markethink at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in marketing/advertising/branding/real estate/building material sectors.
- Strong client-facing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, and sales tracking.
- Ability to lead a small team and work cross-functionally with strategy and creative departments.
- High ownership mindset, self-driven, and results-focused.
