Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Procurement – Data Architects - Agentic AI
The Assistant Vice President, Agentic Procurement – Data Architects will play a strategic leadership role in shaping the data architecture and analytics framework for AI-driven procurement solutions. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong background in data strategy, architecture, and AI technologies to enable intelligent, data-centric decision-making across procurement functions.
The AVP will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data ecosystems that power advanced analytics, automation, and insight generation for Agentic AI's procurement platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Architecture Leadership
·    Define and drive the data architecture strategy to support Agentic AI's procurement solutions and business objectives.
·    Design and oversee the implementation of data pipelines, integration frameworks, and governance models.
·    Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and scalability across multiple systems and business units.
·    Establish best practices for data management, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.

AI & Analytics Enablement
·    Collaborate with AI engineering and product teams to architect data systems that support machine learning models and advanced analytics.
·    Leverage data-driven insights to optimize procurement operations, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.
·    Identify opportunities to integrate generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation into procurement workflows.
·    Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance data intelligence and architecture efficiency.
Product & Technology Collaboration
·    Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to align data architecture with platform requirements.
·    Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring seamless data flow and usability across AI-driven tools.
·    Lead data design reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards and scalability goals.
Leadership & Team Management
·    Lead a team of data architects, engineers, and analysts in building robust, future-ready data infrastructure.
·    Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
·    Mentor and develop team members to strengthen expertise in data architecture and AI applications.
Stakeholder Engagement
·    Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT leadership to define data priorities and governance frameworks.
·    Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
·    Represent the data architecture function in strategic planning sessions and executive reviews.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
·    Proven experience in leading data architecture or data engineering teams within technology-driven or AI-focused organizations.
·    Strong expertise in data modeling, integration, and cloud-based architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
·    Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), databases, and data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
·    Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·    Experience implementing data frameworks to support AI and machine learning initiatives in procurement or supply chain environments.
·    Familiarity with data governance, master data management (MDM), and data security practices.
·    Strong understanding of AI, analytics, and digital transformation in enterprise procurement.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
