The company is India's one of the fastest-growing Premium Pre-Laminated Panel and Laminate manufacturing companies. It has a state-of-the-art 100,000 sq ft factory located near Vapi and is the largest flat lamination unit in the country.

To fuel our ambitious growth plans the company is looking for a dynamic Assistant General Manager - Finance

Role Summary

Lead finance, taxation, accounts, administration and compliance functions. Provide financial leadership, build high-performing teams, coordinate with factory operations and drive disciplined financial growth in a rapidly expanding manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Accounting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure accuracy of books and timely financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, SOPs and accounting processes.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury and fund planning.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and variance analysis; present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Monitor plant-level budgets, perform P&L and cost analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

  • Ensure accurate computation, timely filing and compliance for GST, TDS and income tax.
  • Manage tax assessments, refunds and regulatory notices; coordinate with external consultants and authorities.

Banking & Funding

  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, term loans, WC limits, LC/BG and renewals.
  • Prepare CMA data, projections and funding proposals to support business growth.

Audits & Compliance

  • Coordinate statutory, internal, tax and cost audits; ensure timely ROC filings and Companies Act compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and identify applicable subsidies, incentives and compliance requirements.

Factory Coordination & Systems Oversight

  • Liaise with plant finance, production and operations to align financial reporting and controls.
  • Review factory MIS, costing, inventory controls and drive process/system improvements.

Administration & IT Coordination

  • Oversee general administration, office operations and administrative policies.
  • Partner with IT for system stability, security and infrastructure enhancements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance and admin teams; establish clear accountability and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure team alignment with strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years experience in manufacturing finance.
  • Strong expertise in accounting, taxation, budgeting, P&L analysis, audits and compliance.
  • Experience in plant finance, costing, banking/funding and stakeholder management.
  • High integrity, analytical mindset, operational focus and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
