Job Title: Senior Executive

1. Role Overview:-

The Legal Executive will be responsible for leading legal initiatives, overseeing contractual and regulatory matters, managing litigation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. The role demands strong legal acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external counsels, and regulatory authorities.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Contracting and Documentation

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, lease, and employment contracts, transportation contracts.
  • Establish and implement contract management systems and processes for tracking, renewal, and compliance.
  • Provide strategic advice on contractual risks, liabilities, and indemnities.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

B. Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Manage and monitor all litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
  • Liaise with external counsels, prepare briefs, review pleadings, and ensure timely filings.
  • Provide legal strategy and updates to management on critical cases.
  • Maintain a litigation tracker and periodic MIS for leadership review.

3. Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
  • Experience: More than 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal function, preferably in financial services, manufacturing, or listed entity environment.

  • Skills Required:

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Deep understanding of corporate, commercial, and securities laws.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management tools.
  • Excellent Negotiator
