About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Executive with 1 year of experience to join our legal team in Mumbai. The role involves supporting legal operations, handling documentation, and coordinating with internal teams, external counsel, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as agreements, notices, affidavits, and correspondence.
  • Assist in contract management, including vetting basic agreements (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and law firms for litigation and non-litigation matters.
  • Handle court filings, follow-ups, and maintain records of cases, notices, and legal updates.
  • Conduct basic legal research and prepare summaries or notes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update legal MIS, trackers, and documentation databases.
  • Support senior legal team members in day-to-day legal and administrative work.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Legal Executive, Legal Associate, or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of Indian laws, contracts, and legal procedures.
  • Familiarity with court processes and legal documentation is preferred.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
