Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Executive based in Mumbai. The candidate will provide legal support, and assist the legal team in various legal assignments. The candidate will report to the Legal Head and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Work with the Legal team across group companies
  • Drafting/Vetting of agreements such as NDAs, Master agreements, partnership agreements, supplementary agreements, redevelopment/development agreements, sale agreements, JV/LLP agreements, financial agreements, vendor agreements, share purchase agreements etc.
  • Work along with internal stakeholders, business and finance teams for all company related projects/tasks.
  • Legal Documentation & Contract management (including drafting, vetting and execution of agreements and management of the legal database, maintaining trackers, reports etc.)
  • Draft/Review letters/notices/ replies to Govt. authorities, and concerned stakeholder and drafting/reviewing all other documents related to company projects
  • Conduct legal research and perform case searches, investigate various areas of laws and regulations with quick turnaround time
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare title search reports of properties related to redevelopment and construction projects
  • Disputes/Litigation management (support the company in its litigation/arbitration matters and manage/prepare litigation tracker/MIS/reports, attend court matters as and when required)
  • Work along with external counsels/advocates/law firms/consultants on litigation and arbitration matters of the company and attend court matters of the company as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum LLB required
  • Team player with open mindset to learn and unlearn as per requirement
  • Strong ethical mindset with non-negotiable work ethics
  • Strong attention to details and legal acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure and within the turnaround time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in Legal Document Preparation and providing Legal Advice
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Previous experience in infrastructure and construction industry is a plus
  • Willing to travel
