Customer Success Software Engineer (Client-Facing)
About the Role:
As a Software Engineer within the Customer Success organization, you'll play a critical role in deploying and tailoring fraud risk scoring systems for some of the world's leading financial institutions. You'll work across diverse environments—on-premise and cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)—and technologies including SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ, and custom Java development.
You'll collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Project Managers, and Fraud Analysts to understand client needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the full software development lifecycle to build integrations and enhancements.
- Write clean, testable code (note: coding is not the primary focus).
- Integrate software components into fully functional systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy and support systems in production environments.
- Monitor performance and stability using dashboards and alerts.
- Follow Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning and task refinement.
- Ensure smooth feature deployment and product upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Java or another modern programming language.
- Proficiency with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with tools like Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, or Postman is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consultative, solution-oriented capacity.
