About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our market presence in the architectural and construction sector. The BDE will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing project requirements, and promoting our glass solutions such as shower partitions, toughened window glass, sound-proof glass, laminated glass, and related hardware fittings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, fabricators, hotels, office developers, and retail clients.
- Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, networking events, exhibitions, and online platforms.
- Research market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements.
2. Client Acquisition & Sales
- Conduct presentations and explain product features (shower glass systems, noise-reduction glass, double-glazed units, etc.).
- Conduct site visits for measurements and feasibility assessment.
- Prepare and submit quotations based on technical requirements.
- Manage negotiations, finalize contracts, and close deals to meet monthly sales targets.
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with technical, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Follow up on delivery timelines, installation schedules, and site readiness.
- Address client concerns and ensure high service quality throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, contractors, and corporate clients.
- Promote new products, glass technologies, and hardware options.
- Generate repeat business by providing excellent post-sales support.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain updated records of leads, quotations, and projects in CRM or Excel.
- Share weekly sales reports with management.
- Track pipeline, follow-ups, and revenue forecasts.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil/Interior field (preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preffered in glass, construction materials, interiors, aluminium/uPVC, or hardware fittings.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and site handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical measurements, BOQs, and basic drawings.
- Willingness to travel to client sites frequently.
Preferred
- Existing network of architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors.
- Knowledge of:
- Toughened & laminated glass
- Sound-proof / double-glazed units
- Shower hardware fittings
- Sliding, hinged, and frameless systems
- Experience with CRM or sales tracking tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- New B2B clients added
- Monthly revenue achieved
- Lead-to-conversion ratio
- Number of site visits and meetings
- Repeat orders from existing clients
