Job Description – Bakery Chef (Cookies & Biscuits Production)

Location: Ram Vihar, Rohini Sector 39, New Delhi

Employment Type: Full-Time (6 days/week)

Accommodation: On-site room provided (with washroom & cooking facilities)

Our product range includes Conventional Cookies, Gourmet Cookies, Healthy Cookies and innovative varieties such as Russ, Puff, Fan, and Gooey Cookies.

We are seeking a passionate Bakery Chef with strong knowledge of commercial baking processes and machines to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily biscuits and cookies production ensuring adherence to standard recipes, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and document new unique recipes aligned with market trends (Healthy, Gourmet, and innovative cookie types).
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients, doughs, batches, final products, and packaging.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance across all products.
  • Supervise and train production staff on processes, machine handling, and hygiene practices.
  • Operate and monitor key machines including droppers, mixers, ovens, sifters, and grinders.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with founders and production teams to create seasonal, market-driven innovations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial bakery/biscuit/cookie production.
  • Strong knowledge of machines such as planetary mixers, cookie droppers, and ovens.
  • Proven ability to create, refine, and document recipes.
  • Excellent understanding of ingredients, food science, and baking techniques.
  • Ability to supervise factory-level production and manage labor staff.
  • Diploma or Degree in Bakery / Culinary Science preferred.
  • Must be able to commute regularly or stay in the provided accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a commercial bakery or biscuit manufacturing unit.
  • Strong palate with the ability to evaluate taste, texture, and product quality.
  • Familiarity with developing healthy, gourmet, and innovative cookies.
