Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Bhubaneswar for a Counter Sales Representative. The role involves assisting customers with product inquiries, providing guidance on product features, processing sales transactions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining product displays, managing inventory at the counter, and collaborating with the team to meet sales targets and improve store performance.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively engage with customers, and resolve queries or concerns.
  • Sales and Product Knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, product benefits, and the ability to recommend appropriate products to customers.
  • Organization and Time Management: Efficient handling of inventory, transactions, and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work as part of a team to meet store goals and enhance the customer experience.
  • Additional Qualifications: Prior experience in sales or retail is preferable but not mandatory. Educational background in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems or inventory management software.
