About the Role :

Unibic Foods is looking for dynamic Export Managers to drive hardcore export sales and business development across international markets. The role involves full ownership of regional export sales growth through distributor appointment & management, channel expansion, and execution excellence across geographies. Its an individual contributor profile.

Opening currently 2-

1. For Middle East & GCC

One role will focus on the Middle East and GCC markets.

  1. For Southeast Asia & Australia

    Another role will handle the Southeast Asia and Australia regions.

The headquarters for both roles will be in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Achieve and exceed export sales targets; identify new countries, customers, and channels to drive business growth.
  • Distributor Management: Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors to optimize primary, secondary, and tertiary sales.
  • Channel Expansion: Grow business across General Trade, Modern Trade, Private Label, Institutional, E/Q Commerce, and HORECA segments.
  • Market Development: Execute in-market strategies, trade promotions, and sampling activities to strengthen brand presence.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Production, Planning, Logistics, and R&D for smooth order execution and private label opportunities.
  • Export Operations: Oversee shipping, documentation, and regulatory compliance (Health Certificates, COC, etc.).
  • Customer & Finance: Maintain customer relationships, ensure timely payments, and resolve queries promptly.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competition, analyse trends, and share actionable insights and sales forecasts.

Lead Generation: Represent Unibic at global exhibitions and trade fairs to generate new business opportunities

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA/Graduate (preferably in International Business).
  • 610 years of FMCG export sales experience with strong business development and distributor management skills.
  • Proven knowledge of export sales, processes, logistics, and documentation.
  • Target-driven, analytical, and willing to travel internationally.
