Market Development Manager – Hotels

Location: Mumbai/ Delhi / Kolkata / Bengaluru / Chennai

Department: Hotel

Reports to: Vice President -Hotel Strategy

Type: Full-Time Individual Contributor (IC) role

KRA's

1 Hotels business development and growth:

Work closely with Regional Sales Head to growth Hotels business in the region

 Analyze market / TripJack sales data to identify high potential agents (existing or new)

 Align PJP with sales team PJP to visit high potential agents – grow wallet share of Hotels business in the

existing agents AND pitch & acquire new high-potential agents (~2-3 weeks in a month)

 Work closely with sales & other functions to drive conversion of bulk queries in the region

 Gather market intelligence in terms of key accounts / high potential agents

 Track and analyze Hotels sales KPIs – GMV, booking trends and support hotel growth strategy initiatives

 Provide specific insights to improve overall Hotels product / offering through competition benchmarks,

feedback from sales team and agents (voice of agents) to ensure it aligns with market needs

  1. Sales team product training and support:

Be the advocate of Hotels business in the region

 Conduct regular sessions with the sales team to train and handhold them on Hotels product

 Coordinate with sales teams to resolve product-related queries and ensure timely resolution of issues

related to hotel content, pricing, and availability

 Disseminate knowledge around new offerings & launches, platform features on regular basis

 Cross-functional Collaboration - Liaise with supply, marketing, product, and operations teams to streamline

hotel offering and align with business priorities

  1. Marketing and Campaigns:

 Support planning & execution of hotel-specific sales campaigns / roadshows

 Drive awareness and track effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions and associated

collaterals, both within the sales team and the agent fraternity

 Provide inputs from time to time to design and roll out marketing campaigns
