Job Intent

The role involves driving retail mutual fund sales through strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and market expansion. The position focuses on achieving AUM growth, market share, and profitability through an effective network of IFAs, distributors, and channel partners.

Job Specifications

  • 10–12 years of relevant experience in
    Mutual Fund Retail Sales / AMC Industry
  • Preferably an
    MBA or equivalent qualification
    (not mandatory)
  • Strong networking and established relationships with
    IFAs, distributors, and channel partners
    in the respective region
  • Proven track record in
    driving sales, achieving revenue targets, and managing teams
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adept at relationship management and business development

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive
    overall retail sales performance
    for the assigned region (Kerala/Karnataka) and ensure achievement of AUM, revenue, and market share targets.
  • Develop and implement
    region-specific sales and marketing strategies
    in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by mapping potential markets and expanding IFA and distributor networks.
  • Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with
    existing and prospective clients
    , ensuring consistent engagement and servicing.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the area sales teams to achieve desired performance outcomes.
  • Conduct regular
    market visits
    , monitor competitor activities, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all
    regulatory and internal guidelines
    during client acquisition and sales processes.
  • Facilitate
    effective coordination with marketing, operations, and product teams
    to support sales efforts and improve customer experience.
  • Contribute actively toward achieving
    regional profitability
    and sustainable business growth.
  • Regular reporting on sales metrics, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to the respective Regional Head.
