Key Responsibilities

I. Financial Reporting & MIS

  • P&L Analysis & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive P&L statements with variance analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights
  • MIS Development: Design and maintain management information systems covering operational metrics, cost analysis, and performance dashboards
  • Estimate vs Actual Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations with corrective action plans

II. Controllership & Compliance Management

  • Books of Accounts: Maintain complete books of accounts in compliance with Companies Act, accounting standards (Ind AS/GAAP), and regulatory requirements
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee GL operations, review and approve journal entries, and ensure proper accounting treatment of complex transactions
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements including ROC filings, board resolutions, and regulatory submissions
  • Internal Controls & Audit Coordination

III. Taxation & Regulatory Affairs

  • Direct Tax Compliance: Handle income tax computations, advance tax calculations, TDS compliance, and liaison with tax consultants
  • Indirect Tax Management: Oversee GST compliance including returns filing, input credit reconciliation, and handling of tax notices
  • Tax Planning & Advisory and Regulatory Liaison

IV. Process Enhancement & Technology Integration

  • Automation Initiatives, System Implementations, Process Optimization,Technology Adoption and Change Management. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and ensure smooth transition

V. Business Partnering & Strategic Support

  • Cost Management: Conduct detailed cost analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support pricing decisions
  • Business Performance Analysis: Provide financial insights to support business decisions and strategic planning
  • Project Finance: Support new projects with financial modelling, feasibility analysis, and ROI calculations
  • Management Reporting: Prepare board presentations, investor reports, and other stakeholder communications

Education & Certification

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles
