Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Intern located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for conducting market research, generating leads, and providing customer service. Daily tasks include analyzing industry trends, developing communication strategies, and assisting with the creation and implementation of growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze markets, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for prospecting and client engagement.
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts, including lead generation and customer relationship management.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital communication tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail for preparing proposals and managing follow-ups.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new customers by phone, email, or in person.
