Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and technically strong Sales Manager (Engineer) to join our expanding team. The role involves business development, client acquisition, tendering activities, and coordination of key projects in collaboration with government and semi-government bodies.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify, introduce, and develop new projects aligned with infrastructure and sustainable solutions.
Build strong networks by proactively engaging with government departments, consultants, and key decision-makers.
Generate sales leads, pitch company solutions, and maintain long-term client relationships.
Conduct market research to explore new opportunities and develop techno-commercially viable solutions.
Coordinate with internal technical teams to design customized proposals and solutions.
Deliver impactful PowerPoint presentations and technical demonstrations, clearly communicating solution benefits.
Track, manage, and report sales activities, pipeline status, and project progress.
Achieve sales targets and support overall organizational growth objectives.
Study company products, solutions, and services in detail, including technical specifications and applications.
Conduct web-based research to identify opportunities relevant to company offerings.
Identify and engage with prospective clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship development.
Conduct detailed analysis of client tender/bid/RFP processes aligned with company capabilities.
Demonstrate strong understanding of tendering procedures, including technical requirements, qualification norms, bid preparation, and submissions.
Attend pre-bid meetings, represent the organization professionally, and gather technical/commercial insights for proposal preparation.
Required Education & Skills :
Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in civil, mechanical, or infrastructure sectors. Experience handling government projects will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical product knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations
Ability to simplify and explain complex technical solutions to clients
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
Thorough understanding of government tendering processes
Professional, presentable, and self-driven personality
