Role Objective

A key objective of this role is to manage & support International Business Development initiatives and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for European markets. The role involves supporting sales growth with the Regional Sales Head, managing distributor relations and ensuring timely execution of commercial and operational processes to meet business targets across European markets.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or science; postgraduate qualification in business administration or international business is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of total experience in international pharmaceutical/medical device/healthcare business.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years in international business development.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in CRM focused on international markets.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    Understanding of export documentation, pharmaceutical regulatory processes, international market dynamics, and CRM systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain communication with existing and potential customers to foster business growth.
  • Provide prompt, high-quality service to international customers and other stakeholders.
  • Draft distributor agreements and coordinate their execution.
  • Facilitate the collection and submission of registration certificates to the regulatory department.
  • Prepare and manage contracts and proforma invoices for received orders, ensuring timely customer sign-off.
  • Monitor customer ledgers and provide outstanding dues reports to clients and regional sales managers quarterly.
  • Share and align invoice plans with regional managers to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
  • Develop monthly collection plans to ensure timely receipt of payments and smooth order fulfillment.
  • Process customer complaints through appropriate quality management systems.
  • Coordinate goods return entries in SAP following confirmation from the internal department.
  • Support logistics by facilitating nominated agent details for FOB shipments.

Functional Skills Required

  • Proficiency in SAP for order processing, ledger management and logistics coordination.
  • Sound knowledge of international sales processes, export compliance and distributor management.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to interpret sales data and CRM analytics.
  • Competence in drafting and managing commercial contracts and invoices.
  • CRM systems proficiency, especially in B2B pharmaceutical settings.
