Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive (Fresher), you will be part of the business growth and client acquisition team, learning how to identify opportunities, connect with potential clients, and support the sales cycle from lead generation to project closure. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about technology, communication, and sales, and wish to build a strong foundation in IT business development and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
You will be working closely with senior business development professionals and cross-functional teams to support client acquisition and project coordination efforts. You would be required to participate in lead generation activities, client communications, and proposal support.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in lead generation through LinkedIn, social media, networking, and other business channels.
- Supporting the team in sourcing and communicating with potential clients via email, calls, and online platforms.
- Learning how to prepare business proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
- Coordinating with internal teams to understand technical and functional project requirements.
- Helping maintain client databases and tracking ongoing opportunities.
- Conducting basic market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Supporting the preparation of sales reports and documentation.
- Participating in virtual client meetings and learning client communication best practices.
- Collaborating with senior team members to meet sales and outreach objectives.
Required Skills
Primary Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sales, marketing, and client engagement in the IT or technology sector.
- Ability to understand and explain technical and functional concepts to clients (training provided).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Enthusiasm to learn business development strategies, proposal writing, and negotiation techniques.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and eager to build a career in business development.
Secondary Skills:
- Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, or CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Understanding of digital marketing or IT solutions preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of sales funnels and customer relationship management concepts.
- Flexible to work with clients across different time zones.
