The Manager - Presales plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the sales and technical teams within an organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the company's products or services, as well as the ability to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients. They should also be adept at analyzing customer requirements and crafting tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Qualification:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales, sales engineering, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background with knowledge of relevant technologies, products, and solutions. Experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or cloud services is highly desirable.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, articulate value propositions, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer Focus: Passion for understanding customer requirements and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Presales Activities: Oversee and lead the presales team in developing and delivering high-quality presales support, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and requirements, and effectively articulate how the company's products or services can address their needs.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with the technical team to design innovative and customized solutions that align with customer requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of the company's offerings.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of persuasive proposals and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer needs and expectations.
- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including participating in client meetings, conducting product demonstrations, and addressing technical queries.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
- Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor members of the presales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key metrics related to presales activities, such as win rates, customer satisfaction, and sales pipeline, and implement strategies to improve performance.
