Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounts Manager
to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 6 years of experience in handling accounts, statutory compliances, financial reporting, audits, and team management.

The Accounts Manager will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities :

  1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  2. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

  3. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  4. Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IND-AS/IFRS).
  5. Perform general ledger reconciliations and analysis.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Supervise the processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Manage credit control and customer reconciliations.

3. Taxation & Compliance:

  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Coordinate with consultants/auditors for statutory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis reports.

5. Audit & Internal Controls:

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for audits.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems and processes.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures.

6. Team Management & Coordination:

  • Supervise and guide junior accountants and finance executives.
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial data and reporting needs.
  • Train and develop accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Accounting Standards and Regulations
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
  • Strong Auditing and Compliance skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
