Position: Accounts Manager Experience Required: 4–6 years Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to take full responsibility for the company's finance and compliance operations. The Accounts Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting, statutory filings, and team management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial records. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with GST, TDS, and income tax requirements, while also supporting cost control and profitability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of two executives: one handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and one handling Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Take complete ownership of books of accounts, reconciliations, and payment-related works.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
  • Oversee sales reconciliations and ensure proper accounting of revenue and expenses.
  • Maintain accurate salary entries and ensure timely adjustments.
  • Share predetermined financial data with management on designated dates for reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Trusha and Tanisha) to ensure smooth data flow for reporting and budget checks.
  • Provide accurate compliance records and support external consultant in management and investor reporting.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with statutory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Non-CA candidates preferred).
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in accounting, compliance filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing AR/AP processes and team supervision.
  • Excellent skills in reconciliations, accuracy in bookkeeping, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of finance operations, and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
