About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Accounts Manager
who has strong hands-on expertise in accounting operations, QuickBooks, statutory compliance, and income tax return filing. The ideal candidate should also have experience in managing
US-based payroll
and end-to-end accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger posting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closure of books and accuracy in reporting.

QuickBooks Management

  • Maintain and update transactions in
    QuickBooks Online/Desktop
    .
  • Generate customized financial reports as required by management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve QuickBooks-related discrepancies.

Statutory Compliance & Returns Filing

  • Prepare and file statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to Indian accounting standards and statutory deadlines.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

Income Tax Management

  • Prepare and file
    individual and business income tax returns
    .
  • Support tax planning, assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with consultants and government departments when required.

US-Based Payroll Handling

  • Process
    US payroll
    (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) accurately and on time.
  • Manage timesheets, deductions, benefits, reimbursements, and tax components.
  • Coordinate with US HR/Finance teams for payroll queries and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with US laws.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of
    QuickBooks
    (Certifications preferred).
  • Experience in statutory return filing and income tax compliance.
  • Prior experience handling
    US-based payroll
    is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to US GAAP or international accounting standards.
  • Experience working with cross-border teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
