As part of our expansion and preparation for an upcoming SME IPO, we are strengthening our finance team and are looking for a skilled Accounts Manager.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager who is a Commerce graduate and has successfully completed CA Inter. Candidates with experience in a CA firm during article ship, followed by corporate accounting roles, will be preferred.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
  • Handle general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and monthly closings.
  • Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and assist with internal reviews.

Statutory Compliance

  • Assist in GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliance activities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.

Receivables & Payables Management

  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Verify vendor invoices, process payments, and track payables.
  • Perform customer and vendor reconciliation periodically.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare cost sheets, financial summaries, and variance reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Assist in cost-control analysis and expense monitoring.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain audit files, compliance documentation, and financial records.
  • Coordinate with various departments, external auditors, and stakeholders.
  • Support senior finance leadership in finance-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
  • CA Inter qualified — Mandatory.
  • Completed article ship in a CA firm, with additional corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, statutory laws, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities independently with professionalism and integrity.
