Job Title: Ecommerce Data Entry Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a
detail-oriented and SEO-focused Product Entry Specialist
to manage and optimize product listings for our eCommerce platform. The candidate will be responsible for researching, creating, and uploading complete product data — including descriptions, specifications, images, and SEO metadata — ensuring all listings are accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Research & Data Collection

  • Search and verify
    product details/specifications
    using the provided model name and details.
  • Gather accurate and complete information from
    official manufacturer sites
    ,
    trusted sources
    , and
    distributor data sheets
    .
  • Collect and organize data efficiently using
    Excel or Google Sheets
    .

2. SEO-Optimized Product Content Creation

  • Write
    semantic and keyword-optimized product titles
    .
  • Create
    short, compelling bullet points
    highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Write
    detailed product descriptions
    using proper SEO key phrases and formatting.
  • Develop
    SEO meta titles, meta descriptions, and alt tags
    for all images.

3. Image Management

  • Fetch
    high-quality product images
    from reliable sources.
  • Resize, compress, and rename images
    according to SEO and website standards.
  • Add
    image alt text
    with appropriate product keywords.

4. Product Variants & Add-ons

  • Identify and create
    product variants
    (e.g., color, size, model differences).
  • Add
    relevant product add-ons or compatible accessories
    .

5. Product Filters & Attributes

  • Enter
    filter and attribute data
    (e.g., brand, category, processor type, storage, display size).
  • Ensure all product filters are properly structured for easy navigation and accurate search filtering on the website.

6. Data Entry & Accuracy

  • Enter product information into the eCommerce CMS accurately.
  • Maintain a
    consistent data structure
    across categories.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and SEO compliance.

7. Tools & System Knowledge

  • Be proficient in
    Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
    (VLOOKUP, data formatting, validation).
  • Comfortable using
    AI tools
    (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for drafting descriptions and keyword research.
  • Knowledge of
    image editing tools
    (Photoshop, Canva, or similar).
  • Familiarity with
    SEO tools
    (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest) is an advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    eCommerce product data entry
    or
    content optimization

  • Strong understanding of
