Role Overview

The
Regional Operations Manager (ROM)
is responsible for managing and coordinating all operational activities within the assigned region to ensure seamless execution of assessments and operational delivery. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills to oversee on-ground operations, maintain infrastructure, ensure compliance, and drive regional performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee and manage all regional operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of assessment services.
  • Lead and motivate regional teams to meet assigned operational and performance targets.
  • Review, expand, and maintain assessment-compatible infrastructure (Nodes) across the region.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor, review, and report daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics.
  • Identify improvement areas and implement measures to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage cost efficiency and optimize resource utilization across centers.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and service providers.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations with clients and partners to ensure alignment on goals and performance.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, Admin, and Technical teams to ensure cohesive regional operations.

Risk & Compliance

  • Manage risks related to service delivery and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  • Address and resolve operational, administrative, and technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with legal and external agencies when required, especially for compliance and crowd management.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor, coach, and develop regional operations teams to ensure effective on-ground execution.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience in
    Operations, Business Development, or Service Delivery
    , with at least 5 years of
    hands-on field operations management
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    and basic understanding of
    Local Area Networking (LAN)
    .
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to
    travel 70–80%
    of the time across the region.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working extended hours during critical operations.
  • Ability to lead from the front and manage large-scale, time-sensitive operational environments.
